Determining the Effect of Hydrocortizone on the Vasil Hoarseness offer Tracheal Intuhation in Patients Under Gastric System Surgery

The study population included 100 patients undergoing gastric system suryery , their age ranging from 5 to 79 . They were randomly assigned to two groups of 50 cases and • 50 controls . The cases were given 3 mg Hydrocortizone per one kilogram of their body weight ; the control yroup received equal amounts of physiological serum . The two gr t ps tpierienced" the same cirumstances . Their voices were recorded and controlledbefofe arid-, after injection and also ofter full conscionsness up to 5 days once a day . The findings indicated that Hydrocortizone was an effective medicine for the prevention of vocal hoarseness .
