چكيده لاتين
This article surveys the process of development of such figures of speech as simile and metaphor from Azerbayjani (Khaghani) and Iraqi (Hafiz) School of poetry to the ʹRestorationʹ (Moshtagh) period. To do so, stylistic features and deploying methods of these figures adopted by these poets are presented through randomly chosen samples -from 150 pages of each poetʹs Divan. This explication shows that some stylistic features are unique to each poet, while some others are shared by all.
