A Review of Vibratory Gyroscopes

Vibratory gyroscopes are measurement devices and nowadays, due to their unique capability, are used widely in industry. The devices measure angular velocity of vehicles, aerial vehicles and watercrafts. The principle of operation of vibratory gyroscope is Coriolis effect. Harmonic force affects resonator to vibrate in derive mode and input angular velocity make Coriolis effect and affect resonator to vibrate in detection mode. Amplitude of vibration of detection mode is according to input angular velocity and then vibratory gyroscope is a rate gyro. The paper is a review of the gyroscope.
