With the growth of the virtual electronic world, one of the issues involved in Internet use is Internet-caused loss. Is the nature of Internet-caused loss the same as non-electronic losses? Is the particular electronic loss direct or indirect? What if direct and indirect causes are combined? What are the fungible and non-fungible criteria in Internet loss? This article investigates the nature of Internet loss. It also discusses different practical implications of Internet-caused loss, Internet-caused loss refers to the act of a user directly or indirectly causing financial or personal damage in a real or judgmental way with the help of the computer. The conditions of direct or indirect Internet-caused loss are the same as in non-electronic loss and the same principles governing the combination of direct and indirect causation of loss apply to Internet-caused loss. If the loser has parties in the real world who are of the same features and type, the case is fungible; if not, it is non-fungible.
