Police and Productivity of Its Units (Part ii).

This article not only tries to endeavor the crucial role of police management units on the effective use of personnel in traditional ways, but also tries to study the effective factors influencing the appropriate utilization of forces, job,reports, overtime work, and research findings related to the use of human resourees and rapid deployment of police forces against criminal commitment in the society. It investigates different methods of patrolling on one hand, and the way which make the police and members of the society feel closer, on the other hand. Different definitions of productivity and various methods of its evaluation in police organization were discussed in the first part. Some hints and guidelines for police managers monitoring the improvements and productivity in their units and finally some issues such as discipline, motivation, and accountability are discussed in this part.
