A study of the Effects of Monitoring Motorcyclists on the Reduction of Inter-city Accidents (A case study of Garmsar, 1386-1387)

The present study emphasizes increasing motorcyclistsʹ safety, making them lawabiding and introducing a suitable approach to decrease accidents. The method of research is descriptive-measurement. To examine research hypotheses, a questionnaire, including open-answer and close-answer ques tions, was provided and distributed among 387 motorcyclists in Garmsar, The repliers were randomly chosen from three parts of the city through class ified sampling and answered the questions. Then, the data were collected and analyzed. Also, the role of the motorcyclists on inter-city accidents in Garrnsar, was examined. Next, the data collected were analyzed using SPSS software. The results showed that motorcyclistsʹ control plans have been effective on decreasing inter-city accidents in Garmsar. Also, the motoristsʹ driving skills played an effective role on decreasing motorcyclistsʹ accidents.
