The Effect of Frequency, Semantic Priming and Repetition Priming on Lexical Access

This research has studied the effect of some factors like frequency, semantic priming, repetition priming in lexical access, using the semantic association experiment and lexical decision task. These tests are applied to help understand the competence through some evidences from the individual ʹs performance. Scienlists use this method in modeling mental processesof natural language, and try to explain the problematic cognitive mechanisms with which we are faced in order to understand and interpret theseprocesses. Resultsshow remarkable details illustrating the relations between words in our mental lexicon; a/so the findings give us some interesting points related to the mechanism and necessary information concerning lexical access.
