« THE EXTENT OF THE COMPANY OF » « WISDOM AND DIVINE REVELATION »

Wisdom and divine revelation are important issues in Islam , as Imam Ali ( P.B.U.H ) asserted wisdom is religion ʹ s base . He states " who isnʹt wise , hasnʹt religion " . Clearly the challenge of wisdom and religion as well as religious intellectualsʹ attempt are noticeable issues which needs precise studies. Therefore , in Islamic culture, rationalism can be considered in company with the faith in God . Believing and thinking are manʹs essential needs . According to Dr, Motahari ʹs attitude, there is a close cooperation between reason and religion . Thus it is attempted to investigate different aspect of those important issues with regard to related attitudes . Wisdom and divine revelation are studied , mostly on the base of Quaranic verses and Imam Ali ʹs statements, as well as regarding its literal aspect . In analyzing the issues , it is endeavored to use respectable Arabic and Persian references . Wisdom is the considerable and old problem in the history of human thinking , also it is challangable in the history of religious thought; therefore , it raises various questions . The important questions that were studied are as follows : 1. what is the meaning of wisdom ? 2. what is the extent of its comprehension? 3. what is the extent of our dependence upon the wisdom ? 4.how to be immunized from its offenses
