Immigration of Brains: the Failure of Development Process

In last decades the subject of brain drain has becom a critical challenge for developing countries with political, economic and security implications. There is a strong meaningful relation between widespread immigration and development process. This article analyses the immigration phenomenon through the lens of development. The author claims that widespread immigration of citizens in particular brains is the direct outcome of failure of development process. To examine this claim, this article first defines the concept of development and its connection with migration and then the main factors of sustaining development and the roots of immigration of brains will be explained.
