Refining of Gas Condensate in Atmospheric Distillation Unit

At the present time, Sarajeh and Khangiran Gas Condensates with a rate of6000 BPSD are introduced to Tehran Refinery. If these gas condensates are blended directly with crude oil, not only crud oil capacity will be decreased but also belending of them directly will cause some failures such as incompatibility and fouling in heat exchangers because the quantity and quality of their hydrocarbons are different. In this project the most suitable place for introducing gas condensates to atmospheric distillation tower and visbraker unit has been determined. Gas Condensates with final boiling point of 370° C have been added to middle part of atmospheric distillation tower and visbraker>s distillation tower. Researches have shown that adding 2.5 % of gas condensate to crude oil, leads to increase of gasoline, naphtha, kerosene, and light diseal by 2, 2.1.5,6 weight percentage respectively
