The present article will treat of the position of religion in the modern times. One of the important questions and fateful and challenging discussions among religious scholars and secular intellectuals during a couple of past centuries is that is the result of modernism and science and development and rationalism, elimination of religion from different fields of humanʹs life. Some secular scholars have claimed this view. The matters that this writing has tried to treat are: discussion and research about the validity of this hypothesis, and the reasons that the supporters have presented for their claim, and is this claim provable from scientific and historical aspects or not, and how can the invalidity of this claim be proved.
