Mowlana Abd al-Qader Naeeni The Earliest Poet of Naeen

Abd al-Qader Naeeni is the earliest known poet of Naeen who wrote poetry in Dari Farsi. He was a contemporary of Sadi and his name is mentioned in Samarqandiʹs Tcizkera al- Shuara and in Farhang e Jahangiri. Textual evidences show him as an eleventh century poet whose Divan, if survives at all, should be sought in the libraries of the Indian Subcontinent.
