A Study ofIranʹs Foreign Relations with South Africa

Foreign relations explore the ties among states, while describing their mutual relations, their contacts with regional and international institutions. Foreign relations become meaningful with regard to durability of treaties and contracts about Peaceful co-existence, cultural, economic and Political co-operations. Relations among nation - States Look like game where all sides follow their interests . Keeping above points in mind, due to common grounds of Iran and South Africa towards the west and Performing balancing positions for the U.S.A vis-a-vis the former Soviet Union, the triangle of Iran, the occupying regime of Israel and U.S.A became essential. In addition, both the interests of Pahalvis to South Africa and the need of the latter to the oil of the former played a role in keeping close relations between two sides.
