A Bayesian Look at Classical Estimators: The Generalized Exponential Distribution

In this paper, we consider relationship between classical and Bayesian estimators of the shape parameter of the generalized exponential distribution. We show how the classical estimators can be obtained from various choices Bayesian framework. We compare the classical estimators based on their mean squared errors (MSBʹs). A simulation study has been used to compare the classical and Bayesian estimators.
