Goodness of Fit Test by Chebyshev-type Inequality

Graphical presentations are essential tools to assess the data distribution. There are several methods in order to assess the data distribution. The common used approach is based on goodness of fit method where was due to Pearson (1900). Anderson- Darling, Shapiro-Wilk and Shapiro-Francia tests are also some powerful tests. In this article, a new goodness- of- fit test based on Chebyshev- type inequality, has been designed. Using Minitab software we simulate sets of data from several distributions and then calculate and compare the power of tests.
