Treatise of Tanbakooiyya

Tanbakooiyya, written in the Safavid Period, is a literary treatise which has a historical value as well, because it deals with Shah Safiʹs ascension and his decree on tobacco. Seeking the origin of tobacco and the etymology of the word, the treatise talks of the different kinds of tobacco and provides information about the system of agriculture and cultivation in that time.
