The comparison effects of experiencing domestic violence on mental health

The victimization and witnessing physical and psychological violence during childhood on general health during adolescence. To do this, 220 students were randomly selected and the General Health Questionnaire (GHQ) and domestic violence questionnaire were administered to them. The results showed that there was a converse relationship between experiencing violence in childhood and the level of general health. Furthermore, no relationship was found between and the level and the type of violence in childhood with physical symptoms. The same results were found in other cultures.
