A Preface to Israeli Public Diplomacy

Israeli public diplomacy in the world. The author seeks to address the conditions of soft conflict between Israel and the Palestinians, and weak and strong points of Israeli public diplomacy. To attain this goal, first literature concerning public diplomacy is reviewed and then the indicators and areas of the actorsʹ soft power are studied. Finally the author concludes that in spite of Israelʹs extensive, costly efforts at rectifying the image of its hated agents, this regime is the most abhorred one in the area of world public opinions. The author observes that the Palestinian Intifada has played a crucial part in revealing Israeli aggressive policies and actions.
