Fallacy in the Idea of Straight Paths

History of science in our country shows that the critical analysis and discussion in seminaries (Islamic colleges) have flourished considerably; so that there are few books and treatise on which some description is not written or that are not notated accompanied with wise and careful criticism. Unfortunately, this method has been less prosperous in university centers and generally, the university system does not tolerate such behavior. In recent years, this method has changed into writing criticism and review books, although Criticism Culture has not flourished in academic circles yet. An evaluation method which has not been attended to is that of finding fallacies in criticism which is the result of lack of Criticism Culture. This paper is a step in promoting this culture. Dr. Soroush, proposing discussions in political and social fields, has been able to affect academic circles, especially students of technical disciplines and experimental sciences. Therefore reviewing his ideas and critiquing them wisely is an undeniable necessity. The main point in this article is the identification of logical fallacies in one of the works of Doctor Abdolkarim Soroush.
