Chinese Defense Policy: Issues and Analyses.

The power and strength of China, as a great power, have increased extremely in various fields and areas during the recent decades. Undoubtedly, this development has been affecting the Chinese defense policy and approach. In order to address the Beijing government defense policy, the author of this paper while discusses foundations and effective elements in shaping the Chinese defense policy, illustrates its security environment, defense organization and military expenditures. Furthermore, he considers the place of research and development in Chinese defense policy as well as the countryʹs nuclear policy and defense policy at the macro level.
