The Role of Entrepreneurship In Industrial and Economic Development

This article makes references to a "knowledge-based economy," in which entrepreneurship is the primary driving force. In this kind of economic system innovators and original thinkers are the main capital of an economic organization and are considered the primary factors in a sustainable development. Likewise, in this article reference has been made to the results of research conducted in entrepreneurship in Iran and its economic and industrial effects. The results of such research emphasize the necessity for the development of the culture of entrepreneurship. Finally, certain recommendations have been made for the development of entrepreneurship in Iran.
