Ashoora movement, the most enduring example of the fight of truth against falsehood

Defending the human dignity is a supreme human value which every religion with any claim to humanity should address. This paper is an attempt to describe the Ashoora movement as the most enduring example of the fight of truth against falsehood. The claim is based on the belief that this movement is characterized by three factors: jihad, martyrdom and message. From the Islamic point of view, jihad is obligatory as a defense of human dignity. For this reason, jihad s base don principles all of which are evaluated with the criteria of truth and justice. Martyrdom, too, is an informed choice made by the martyr. And the message of jihad and martyrdom, which is passed on from generation to generation, is the message of insight, resistance and compass of a short paper, explain the major characteristics of the book as an introduction to Imamat.
