The Islamic Iran, a basis for dissemination of holylmamsʹ teachings

The writer begins with the belief that Iranians, at the time of the rise of Islam, were highly civilized people, and that the national culture of Iran was enriched through its unity with Islam and Shiʹism. The writer then proceeds to describe the role of Iranians in the development of Islamic teachings and sciences and technology. The writer argues that Iranians did have a natural thirst for truth, which they found in Islam; otherwise, they would gain independence from Islam as the occasions arose. Onesuch historical occasion is the rise of Abu Moslem. The Iranians, on the contrary, showed a greater love for the household of the Prophet, even though they were Arabs. The writer then presents evidence to show the tendency of the people of Bukhara and Yemen towards Islam. He also gives along lost of the Iranians who contributed to various Islamic sciences.
