The Study and Comparison of Different Synthesis Procedures for Fox-7 and Selection of Optimized Synthesis Procedure

For achievement to the powerful and safe explosive materials very wide researches have been done. FOX-7 (1,1- diamino-2,2- dinitroethen) is one of these explosives that has developed in 90 s. This compound has same operation to RDX but possess less sensitivity than it. Also its thermal and chemical stability is suitable. One of the advantages is its low production price of FOX-7 than RDX and HMX. The aim of this paper is study and compare of optimum synthesis procedure of FOX-7 and selection of optimized synthesis method. The best advantage of this optimized procedure is high yield (90%) and simplicity of its production procedure that has production capability in lab and pilot scale.
