Structural Analysis of Impact of Culture on US Hegemony in Intʹl System

Today, culture and associated issues constitute the most sustainable components and national prowess of each country, which ensure its survival, security and independence. In fact, what helps define human societies in various parts of the world is the "culture of people", which acts as an operating value-based system for the society and visualizes the reality of a particular past and presenting a specific version of it, separates the internals from externals. Amid this, by utilizing the process of globalization and the media, powerful publicity, modern ideas and plans within the framework of smart and soft power, of which culture is one of its manifestations, the United States has managed to forge a new identity and present a new lifestyle in line with its goals. This paper intends to answer the question that to what extent the "phenomenon of culture" has played a role in expanding the US hegemony in the international system. The study assumes that by utilizing soft power, one of the implications of which is culture, the US has spread its hegemony to other parts of the world. It also responds to questions about the impact of globalization on establishing the US hegemony and the influence of US culture on other countries.
