هدف پژوهش حاضر بررسي مقايسه سبك‌هاي دلبستگي و ابعاد دوست داشتن در نوجوانان داراي رابطه و فاقد رابطه با جنس مخالف بود. 500 دانش‌آموز (250 پسر، 250 دختر) در دبيرستان‌هاي اصفهان، با استفاده از روش نمونه گيري تصادفي خوشه‌اي انتخاب شدند. آزمودني‌ها پرسشنامه سبك دلبستگي راس و پرسشنامه مثلث دوست داشتن استرنبرگ را تكميل نمودند. داده‌ها با استفاده از شاخص‌هاي آماري نظير ميانگين، انحراف معيار، آزمون t مستقل و تحليل چندمتغيره دوعاملي تحليل شد مورد تجزيه و تحليل قرار گرفت. بين افراد داراي رابطه با جنس مخالف و فاقد رابطه از نظر سبك‌هاي دلبستگي تفاوت معنادار وجود دارد. همچنين بين افراد داراي رابطه با جنس مخالف و فاقد رابطه از نظرابعاد دوست داشتن تفاوت معنادار وجود دارد. انواع مختلف سبك‌هاي دلبستگي نوع و مدت ثبات روابط دوست داشتني را متمايز مي‌كند و هر يك از اشكال دلبستگي با نحوه ارتباط فرد در آينده ارتباط دارد.
