Rational Interpretation Methodology in Imam al-Riḍā’s (A.S.) Exegetical Attitude

مسيله پژوهش حاضر، اين است كه با توجه به شرايط و فضاي حاكم بر عصر امام رضا7، آن حضرت از چه روش‌هايي در تفسير آيات قرآن استفاده نموده‌اند؟ در بررسي روايات تفسيري امام رضا7، اين نتيجه به دست مي‌آيد كه آن حضرت، از روش هاي تفسيري مختلفي مانند قرآن به قرآن، قرآن به سنت، قرآن به عقل، قرآن به لغت در بيان مفاهيم آيات الهي بهره جسته اند. از ميان روش‌هاي فوق، روش تفسير عقلي جايگاه ويژه‌اي در سيره تفسيري آن حضرت دارد. آن حضرت در بحث‌هاي اعتقادي و كلامي با فرقه هاي مختلف كلامي زمان خويش، ضمن استفاده از قرآن به عنوان سند گوياي اسلام، توجه ويژه‌اي به مباحث عقلي داشته‌اند و در مواجهه با فرقه هاي كلامي و افكار الحادي مختلف، با استناد به استدلال‌هاي قرآني و تحليل عقلي آن، وارد بحث شده و مخاطبان را مجاب نموده اند، به طوري كه مي‌توان ادعا نمود آن حضرت به لحاظ شرايط خاص عصر خويش از استدلال‌هاي عقلي زياد استفاده نموده‌اند. همچنين در مناظره و گفت‏وگو با عالمان ديگر اديان و مكاتب مختلف زمان خود نيز، از عقل براي غلبه بر آنان بهره فراواني برده‌اند.

(A.S.) employed in interpreting the verses of the Qur’?n with regard to the circumstances governing his era. It is concluded, by examining Imam al-Ri??’s (A.S.) exegetical traditions, that his holiness has enjoyed different exegetical methods in explaining the concepts of the Qur’?nic verses, such as interpretation of the Qur’?n through Qur’?n, interpretation of the Qur’?n through tradition, rational and lexical interpretation of the Qur’?n. From among the above methods, the rational interpretation has a special place in the exegetical one of his holiness. While using the Qur’?n as an expressive document, he paid special attention to rational discussion in his ideological and theological debates with scholars of various theological schools of his time. Similarly, in his confrontation with various theological and heretical sects, he would initiate discussions with reliance on the Qur’?nic arguments and its rational analysis and convince the addressees, to such an extent that it can be claimed that due to the special conditions prevailing his era, he would abundantly employ rational arguments.
