A Section of the Shī‘a Apology in the Fourth/Tenth Century

نامه ادبي و حماسيِ ابوبكر محمد بن عباس خوارزمي ( 323_ 3?8ق) به شيعيان نيشابور را ميتوان به عنوانِ يكي از سرنخ‌هاي بازشناسي وضعيتِ شيعيانِ سده چهارم هجري در سرزمين‌هاي شرقيِ خلافتِ اسلامي، موردِ گفتمان و واكاوي قرار داد. توجه به نوعِ گفتمانِ اين رساله، زمينه‏ساز تعمق و انديشه بيشتر در مباحثِ تاريخي به ويژه پژوهش‌هاي مردم‏شناسيِ درون نهاديِ شيعه مي‏گردد؛ كه در گذر از آن، واقعيت‌هاي تاريخي را آن‌گونه كه بوده باور نماييم و در مسير عبرت‌هاي برآمده از آن، گام برداريم.

A Section of the Sh?‘a Apology in the Fourth/Tenth Century Muhammad Husayn Pakdaman The literary and epic letter of Ab? Bakr Mu?ammad b. ‘Abb?s Khawrazm? (323/934 – 368/978) to the Shi‘as of Nayshabur can be discussed and explored into as a clue to the recognition of the situation of Shi‘as in the Eastern lands of the Islamic Caliphate in fourth/tenth century. Attending to the type of discourse in this treatise would pave the ground for further deliberation on the historical discourses, especially the intra-institutional Shi‘? anthropological researches. It is through this process that we may believe its historical realities as they were and step toward learning the lessons provided thereby.
