Abstract :
Surface analytical technique ESCA (electron spectrometer for chemical analysis) has been used for analysis of catalysts used in propylene
polymerization. As a result of this analysis it has been shown that productivity of a catalyst can be correlated to Ti/Mg atomic ratio that indicates
dispersion of titanium atoms on magnesium support. A quantitative indicator of productivity, i.e. ‘‘titanium index’’ has also been evaluated for
studied catalysts
