Abstract :
The Wnt signaling pathway controls cell fate decisions during animal development and the self-renewal and repair of adult tissues. In this issue, and reveal how an unusual Wnt receptor-ligand complex associated with a spectrum of retinal diseases instructs vascular development in the retina.
