Abstract :
Ubiquitin-dependent processes are critical for propagating antiviral defense signals during viral infection. In this issue, describe how viral RNA and unanchored ubiquitin chains conspire to promote activation of RIG-I and the host cellʹs antiviral transcriptional program.
