Imidazole modified silver electrode and its application to the investigation of the electrochemistry of cytochrome c

Imidazole could react with silver and consequently cover the metal to give a stable and long-living chemically modified electrode, at the surface of which cytochrome c could exhibit good current response without prior purification.
