Abstract :
A novel glucose biosensor, using a diamond film as insulating substrate and H2O2 microarray electrodes as basic electrodes, has been fabricated. Compared with previous glucose sensors, the sensor in this research has a greatly improved long-term stability. In the measurement in standard serums, co-existing substances did not interfere with the results of the glucose response current. Furthermore, while testing glucose concentrations of human blood serums, the results are comparable to those obtained with spectrophotometry. Their correlation coefficient was 0.99. Measuring a blood sample of 12.0mmol/l repeatedly, its variation coefficient was 4.7%, and its deviation was 0.38.
