Pinch technology application in a hospital

This paper is related to a pinch technology application in a hospital. The two most important results of this application are: a thermal power savings potential of 38% and the identification of the optimum heat-exchanger network design. In relation to pinch technology development, this paper pretends to be a reported case about the relevance of applying this technology to a low enthalpy thermal system as the one encountered in a hospital.
