A stopped-flow/continuous-flow method for kinetic determinations

A simple stopped-flow/continuous flow method is introduced to acquire kinetics information and to make kinetic determinations. The technique uses a photometric detector placed within the sample loop of a stopped-flow/continuous flow system. Several different carrier streams (aqueous fluids, organic solvents and air bubbles) were investigated. The analytical performance of the system is illustrated with the enzymatic determination of glucose in wine and serum samples.
