Abstract :
In this study for surveying the relation between exercise and pulmonary function, we examine the effect of eight weeks endurance training on pulmonary function in sedentary men. Participant of this research including health and yang males that were randomized divided into two groups: Endurance Training Groups (ETG) with 15 men; and 13 men in to Control Group (CG). In this study, subjects, runs on a treadmill for 15-30 min at 50%-70% maximal Heart rate for 8 weeks. In both groups, pulmonary function parameters measure via spirometry before and after training. Results of this research showed that eight weeks endurance training induce significant changes in RV(L)in training grope, in addition to , there was significant different between the variables of pulmonary Function such as IRV(L)،FRC(L) ،RV(L) ،TLC(L) ،RV/TLC(L) ، FEV1(L) in pre test to pos test in training group. And also not significant increased other variables. These data demonstrate that a long duration endurance training and physical activity (eight weeks running on treadmill) can leads to improve pulmonary function in inactive men.
