Abstract :
Today, in the age of information and communication during which knowledge orientation and knowledge-based organizations are highly focused by the experts and managers of executive administrations, considering environmental changes, knowledge orientation, and learning especially in educational system seem inevitable. The interdisciplinary nature of future study and owning applied approaches as well are the main cause of this field’s presence in interpreting perspective of other fields and sciences. This research is carried out with the aim of finding out if Tehran metropolis education conforms to learning organizations’ features using the Systems Learning Organization Model of Michael Marquardt. In this descriptive survey, questionnaires are used for data collection and inferential and descriptive statistics for data analysis. The findings show that the education in Tehran metropolis owns five elements matching the Systems Learning Organization Model of Michael Marquardt including dynamic learning, organizational change, knowledge management, capability creation, and technology usage, among which, dynamic learning is the lowest in rating average.
