Determination of mebendazole in urine by cathodic stripping voltammetry

A cathodic stripping procedure has been developed for the determination of mebendazole. An 8 min accumulation time on a 0.1 M acetic acid/acetate pH = 5 buffer solution gives rise to a detection limit of 3 × 10−11 M. An extraction with ether has been developed for the determination of mebendazole in urine. Concentrations of 5 × 10−9M in urine can be determined.
