Oligonucleotide analysis by capillary zone electrophoresis at low pH

We present a method to determine oligonucleotide purity by means of capillary electrophoresis in free solution at low pH. The separation principle is based on the differential protonation of nucleobases. Results on a large set of samples demonstrate the interest of this technique for routine quality control.
