Abstract :
Traces of Se(IV) and Se(VI) in natural water were simultaneously collected on molybdate-form anion exchange resin (Mo-form-resin). The Mo-form-resin which adsorbed Se was directly introduced as a suspension into the graphite tube atomizer, and the sum of the Se(IV) and Se(VI) concentration was determined by atomic absorption spectrometry. The method was applied to natural water, and the sum of Se(IV) and Se(VI) was determined with satisfactory results.
