Abstract
The voltammetric behaviour of dopamine at electropolymerized tetraaminophthalocyanatonickel(II) (p-NiTAPc) film coated electrodes was studied by cyclic voltammetry. The chemically modified electrodes exhibit an electrocatalytic effect on dopamine oxidation. The interference from ascorbic acid can be eliminated by additionally covering the modified electrodes by a layer of Nafion. The oxidation current increased linearly with the concentration of dopamine in the range of 2×10−7–2×10−5 M. The detection limit was 9×10−8 M. The proposed method exhibited good recovery and reproducibility.
