Abstract :
A simple and rapid Tc separation procedure using a chromatographic resin (TEVATM·Spec resin) was improved for the determination of 99Tc in environmental waters by ICP-MS. This procedure completely removes Ru which interferes with Tc counting. The detection limit of 99Tc is 0.3 mBq l−1.
