Two level factorial experimental designs based on multiple linear regression models: a tutorial digest illustrated by case studies

A tutorial digest on the use of factorial and fractional designs in experimental sciences according to the Response Surface methodology is given. The technique of multiple linear regression is applied instead of the Yatesʹ method. Several case studies taken from literature are adapted to illustrate the discussed topics.
