Abstract :
A titanium dioxide electrode modified with potassium hexacyanoferrate(III) was developed. Since potassium hexacyanoferrate(III) has a rapid electron transfer rate, the conductivity of the modified electrode was much better than at a bare titanium dioxide electrode. With this electrode, hydrogen peroxide (from 1.66×10−6 to 3.22×10−3 M) could be determined accurately with a relative standard deviation of less than 7.0%, in the presence of a molar ratio of 1:10 sodium chloride, potassium chloride, potassium bromide, sodium sulfate, β-d-glucose, or nicotinamide, 1:1 sodium iodide, sulfonic acid, nitric acid, uric acid, or l-ascorbic acid or 1:0.1 l-serine or l-phenylalanine.
