Abstract
A mathematical model for on-line prediction of bottom and hearth in blast furnace by particular solution boundary element method was established. A nonlinear heat conduction problem was considered. In particular, Kirchhoff transformation was used for nonlinear heat conduction. A good agreement between computed and measured results is obtained.
