Abstract :
The research has shown, that the product range that satisfying the requests of the consumers, is a key factor of maintenance the company`s competitive position on the durables market. The competitive position of the company is defined by estimation rationality of the product range.
Conducting of monitoring of the competitors and the calculation of the rationality of the assortment of goods, enables the organization to without significant costs and time determine its position on the market in certain moment of time for order to adjust the strategy and increase efficiency.
