Studying Political Consciousness among Iranian Students

In this study survey method conducted, statistical population including students of Faculty of Humanities of Islamic Azad University, Garmsar Branch and sample size was 180 persons studied in random sampling method. Research instrument was a self-developed questionnaire which was tested in terms of validity and reliability. Findings obtained from test hypothesis indicted that political consciousness level of the studied students was medium and among sub scales of concepts, institutions, faces, events and political decisions, the highest consciousness level related to sub scale of political institutions. In addition, the most effective factor of political consciousness of the students was the parties. Comparison of descriptive, theoretical and explanatory results obtained from the present research and study of the theoretical framework and model of this research indicated alignment of results with similar research regarding the mentioned hypotheses.
