Abstract :
Emotions are among character’s components and parts of human’s mental world, and have an important role in the life of human kind. Man’s life, in all its stages, is under influence of his/her emotions which form his/her individual and social behaviors. If human’s feelings and emotions such as love, rage, and fear not be under control by reason and Sharia and there are no obstacles before their acquisitiveness, then any evil act is expectable. From the psychological perspective, human’s behavior is outcome of two processes, insight and attitude. Science and perception are influenced on insight. And desire and motivation have effects on attitude. These two main factors are leading to “action” or behavior. Emotional upbringing can be understood as meeting the moderate extremes in the event of emotional and effective expressions. So praiseworthy rage is that one that is under the rule of reason and religion, and is aroused in necessary times, and when patience is required then it will be demised. Upbringing of emotion term, in spite of its abundant use, was addressed by pedagogic scholars and psychologists less. Present paper tries to examine this from the viewpoint of some westerns philosophers, Islamic instructors, as well according to Quran and Hadith. This is a qualitative descriptive-analytic paper. And its data collection method is library research through referring to main sources as scientific files.
