Abstract :
The goal of this study is considering the effect of behavioral self control training by
behavioral- cognitive play therapy in reduction of children behavior problems with
oppositional disobedience. For this reason by use of random sampling method, 20
children by oppositional disobedience disorder (according to result of questionnaire
of disease symptoms children (CSI-4), the recognized and completed by kindergarten
teachers of preschool children at Tehran city,district-4) after some filtering and
recognition , they were selected and then randomly they transferred in two
examination and witness groups. The current research method is semi examinational
type by use of pre and post test planning with witness group. The examinational
group during 15 sessions of 45 minutes put under play therapy by different methods
(free and indirect methods, guidance method, modeling, kinds of positive
strengthening methods, behavior shaping, problem solving) that are concordant with
behavior– recognition phenomenon . Results obtained by covariance analyzing and
differential scores,showed that play therapy is effective on reduction of behavioral
problems of pre- school children by coalitional disobedience and increasing self
controlling to these children and the devil behavior of examinational group children
that put under education and play therapy, severely and meaningfully reduced
compare to witness group that only busy on their normal activities in kindergarten
and never any interference wishful program performed for them, and they gained
more self controlling. Also we recommend that for more and longer effectiveness of
treatment and prevention performances, we put parents also under necessary
education till they took part in these active actions.
