Systematic approach to the identification of water-gel explosives Original Research Article

Described herein are analytical procedures for the characterisation of slurry explosives by way of the qualitative and quantitative identification of the major constituents (Al, Na+, Ca2+, NH+4, CH3NH+3, NO−3, laurylamine acetate). Three explosive samples of similar composition were discriminated using this systematic approach.
